Yes. The setting "Import method" in the "Import"-pane in the preferences of Picture Arena gives you full control. You can choose here, whether you want Picture Arena to take care of the organisation of your image files or whether you want to use a file and folder structure of your choice and Picture Arena to just save the location of your files. You can also choose a directory of your choice when importing from your digicam. So, if you want, you keep full control over your file and folder structures. But Picture Arena can also do this work for you. You have the choice.
