Keyspan IR Receivers
Keyspan IR receivers were built in several different styles and included in at least these remote/receiver bundles:
- Keyspan Digital Media Remote
- Keyspan Express Remote
- Keyspan Remote for iTunes
Compatible models
Models with these P/N should work:
- UIA-11
- UIA-11F
Remote Buddy 2 comes with a driver of its own.
Incompatible models
Models with this P/N are not supported:
- UIA-10
Limitations
Due to technical limitations of the Keyspan IR receivers' hardware, it may not be able to support all IR protocols supported by Remote Buddy 2.
We could only observe system wake-up in response to IR signals with model UIA-11F. The wake-up, however, seems to be triggered by any IR signal that's long enough, so - depending on setup - unwanted system wake-ups may be the consequence.
