The white Apple Remote is an infrared (IR) remote from Apple originally released in October 2005. It supports low battery detection and pairing.
In October 2009 it was discontinued and superseded with the aluminum Apple Remote.

Receivers with Wakeup badge can be used with Apple Remote (white) to wake the Mac from sleep.
